LIVE MUSIC AT OPL
A year-around venue for live music, OPL is also known as the “Coastside’s Biggest Little Music House”. We welcome a wide range of artists both local and touring acts. Most weekends, live music can range from jazz, funk, soul, reggae, rock, indie rock, or alternative music. The occasional drop-in has been known to happen on our stage. Our roster includes: Neil Young & Crazy Horse, surf legend and singer songwriter Tom Curren, the Expendables, and The White Buffalo. Oakland-based BRNR (pronounced "burner") is comprised of Steve Lee on vocals and bass, Mat Dahms on guitar, and Danny Stevenson on drums. Strong riffs and a great driving sound this power trio fills any room they play with great energy and great music. "These guys rock with tremendous balls."
