A year-around venue for live music, OPL is also known as the “Coastside’s Biggest Little Music House”. We welcome a wide range of artists both local and touring acts. Most weekends, live music can range from jazz, funk, soul, reggae, rock, indie rock, or alternative music. The occasional drop-in has been known to happen on our stage. Our roster includes: Neil Young & Crazy Horse, surf legend and singer songwriter Tom Curren, the Expendables, and The White Buffalo. Since its founding in 2023, Las Pulgas Big Band has drawn crowds with our lively dance music and energetic performances at community events in the Bay Area. We are a traditional 18 piece big band, plus 2 amazing singers.
We’ll get you up and dancing, or at least bouncing in your seats, with our wide mix of styles, tempos, and favorites from the Golden Era of Swing and beyond. Something for everyone, young and old alike. All are welcome.

STEVE HAWK'S DEBUT NOVEL "NEARSHORE"
Join us as we celebrate the release of Steve Hawk’s debut novel “Nearshore,” published by Viking Books. Hawk is a longtime local surfer and the former editor of Surfer, Sierra and Stanford Business magazines. The book is a “surf noir” thriller set here on the Coastside and involving a threat of nuclear terrorism. In its review, Publishers Weekly wrote: “Engrossing, graceful, and transporting, this is a terrific—if terrifying—tale of near apocalypse.” Hardcover copies can be ordered in advance through Ink Spell Books in Half Moon Bay or purchased at our OPL event.
