LIVE MUSIC AT OPL
A year-around venue for live music, OPL is also known as the “Coastside’s Biggest Little Music House”. We welcome a wide range of artists both local and touring acts. Most weekends, live music can range from jazz, funk, soul, reggae, rock, indie rock, or alternative music. The occasional drop-in has been known to happen on our stage. Our roster includes: Neil Young & Crazy Horse, surf legend and singer songwriter Tom Curren, the Expendables, and The White Buffalo. Pirate? Smuggler? The OPL is proud to welcome legendary rum runner Ed Hamilton for a meet-and-greet and educational tasting of his Caribbean rums on Saturday, March 21st at 4pm. Backyard tiki party included! Often called the world’s foremost expert on island spirits, Ed is the author of Rums of the Eastern Caribbean and A Complete Guide to Rum, two of the most respected books on Caribbean rum. A longtime champion of transparency in rum production, Ed has spent decades sailing the Caribbean from Puerto Rico to Guyana visiting distilleries and importing exceptional rums.
